Lockways

Overview
Lockways are secure corridor checkpoints integrated into Gates, Gateyards, and high-security facilities. These chambered corridors facilitate efficient, high-throughput screening of individuals, personal belongings, and cargo.
Operation
These short, secure corridors have automated doors at either end. Once inside, the entry door seals to prevent unauthorized exit or interference.
High-resolution sensors and scanners analyze the contents, detecting prohibited items, contraband, or NDA non-compliant technology. Scanning systems are optimized to identify threats and ensure compliance with district-specific paradigms.
If no issues are detected, the exit door opens, allowing passage. If a threat or violation is flagged, the lockway remains sealed, isolating the subject or cargo until further inspection by Collections agents or security personnel.
Deployment
Lockways are deployed in a wide range of locations:
District Gates: To scan individuals, luggage, and smaller personal shipments, ensuring compliance with district paradigms.
Gateyards: For high-volume cargo processing, particularly for enterprise, where sensitive or high-value shipments are screened.
Spaceports: As a first line of defense for spacefaring travel to and from spaceports, ensuring compliance before further entry into orbital facilities, or travel across Greater Atla when returning from off-planet.
High-Security Facilities: Including government buildings, enterprise centers, event venues, and more, where additional scrutiny is required.
